The Jumpstart Festival Awards Day was a remarkable event that showcased the incredible talent and creativity of young people in Malta. The festival aimed to encourage students to showcase their filmmaking skills and express themselves through short films. The response was overwhelming, and the quality of films submitted was truly exceptional. Congratulations to all the young participants who submitted their films and made the festival a resounding success!
We would also like to give a special shoutout to the award winners who impressed the judges with their outstanding work. The Kullegg San Tumas More Skola Sekondarja Żejtun won the Best Script award, Santa Monica Birkirkara won the Best Cinematography award, while the Kullegg San Albert il-Kbir was awarded for Creativity and Originality. The Students Choice Award went to Santa Monica Birkirkara, and the Best Film Overall award was won by San Tumas More Skola Sekondarja Żejtun.
