Aġenzija Żgħażagħ is collaborating with the Directorate for Learning & Assessment Programmes to offer a Screenwriting Bootcamp to young people between the 8th and 11th August 2022.
The Jumpstart Screenwriting Bootcamp introduces you to the fundamental elements of screenwriting, including:
- Story structure
- Story planning
- Screenplay format
- Character creation
- Dialogue
- Mood and Emotion communication, and
- Action writing
The activities will include writing exercises, collaborative workshops and group activities designed to spark creativity and story ideas while building connections between the writers.
Each participant will be encouraged to express their own sensitivity to express how they see the world, their own personal imagination, and experience. The camps will include writing exercises and collaborative workshops and group activities designed to spark creativity and story ideas and build connections between the writers.
Participants will leave camp with a short film script and a skillset to continue writing into the future.
