What is Democracy Camp?
The non-formal education programme Democracy Camp is a two-day educational programme designed to equip young people aged 13-16 with the knowledge and skills needed to become active citizens in a democratic society. Our sessions aim to promote inclusion, equity, diversity, and human rights through the democratic ideal. This programme will encourage participants to dialogue, exchange ideas and stand up for something that matters to them.
The programme is for young people between 13 to 16 years of age.

- Improve communication, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

What is Moneywise?
Youth is a transitional period through which young people negotiate their independence. As part of this negotiation young people start striving for financial freedom. It is a time when pocket money and summer jobs start gaining currency.
Moneywise offers the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes in money matters and acts as a foundation for young people to build strong money habits at an early age and avoid developing habits which could lead to lifelong struggles.
It aims to help young people increase their financial literacy through knowing how to manage their earnings and learning how to save and borrow money responsibly; it also explores the importance of prioritising your savings. The activities in this program also cover the beating of financial setbacks, the understanding of how to plan for a good pension and other issues.

Millions of photos are posted daily on different social media platforms. These photos capture a moment in time and communicate an action or a situation for viewers to react.
Take Action through Photos aims to engage young people on how to advocate a message on different matters through visual media.

Sound On is for young people who are between 12 to 15 years of age.

- Enhance my public speaking skills
- Research and plan topics and music for a radio programme
- Set-up the radio equipment
- Record and edit the radio programme
Fine Online is open for young people between 10 to 13 years of age.
I will learn to:
- Become aware about the importance and scope of digital wellness.
- Acquire strategies to enable virtual well-being
- Be able to self-manage a healthy online/offline balance.
What is Award in Youth Leadership?
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ provides many different opportunities for youth to develop life skills including leadership skills. These include participation in its empowerment programmes, volunteering, planning an event, speaking in front of groups or networking with youth organisations. Providing training for young people who serve in these leadership positions is essential so that young people feel confident in fulfilling the challenges required of them. Once they have achieved a measure of success, young people will continue to strive for more demanding and difficult roles.
Award in Youth Leadership is for young people (13+) involved in youth organisations/ groups/secondary or post-secondary schools.

In Tune is a two-tier programme for young people between 10 years to 13 years of age

- Get in touch with my feelings from a personal perspective;
- Discuss how relationships play an essential role in emotional literacy;
- Understand the connection between emotional literacy and mental and physical health;
- Outline several actions on who to deal with emotional challenges;
- Equip myself with the necessary skills and tips to overcome related challenges.
Young people aged 13 – 19 actively enrolled in a sports organisation.
Sports Organisations
Will be able to offer the young people an additional programme that specifically focuses on young people’s social and mental wellbeing, through sustained participation in sport.
Young People
This programme targets Goal Setting, Time Management and Team Dynamics. Using goal setting young people will measure their personal improvements through identifying, planning and working on their goals. Time management is key in maintaining a healthy balance between sports, education and/or employment and personal relationships. Team dynamics will enhance team development and success.
