What is Fine Online?
The Fine Online programme is designed to present information and generate discussion and reflection to enable young people manage their digital health and well being more effectively – the first aid of digital well-being. In these unprecedented times of Covid-19 pandemic, everyone is relying on digital devices more than ever to remain socially connected while physically distancing from each other.
There are 2 Fine Online programmes:
deFINEonline – for young people in Year 7 & 8
reFINEonline – for young people in Year 9 & 10
I will learn to:
- Become aware about the importance and scope of digital wellness.
- Acquire strategies to enable virtual well-being
- Be able to self-manage a healthy online/offline balance.

What is Stand Up Speak Out?
Stand Up Speak Out is an online life skills programme designed to enable young people to deal with hate speech and equip them with skills to counter intimidating behavior in schools, outside of schools, and online. Through interactive sessions, young people will discuss and express themselves on different scenarios while outlining other solutions to minimize and stop hate speech.
There are 2 Stand Up Speak Out programmes:
One targets young people in Year7 & 8,
while another targets young people in Year 9 & 10.
I will learn to:
- Understand what hate speech is and be able to distinguish different types of intimidation
- Identify and discuss the actions of the perpetrator’s behaviour
- Outline different skills needed to help victims and by-standers to stand up and speak out
- Become aware of the different professionals that can help and support me.

What is Award in Youth Leadership?
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ provides many different opportunities for youth to develop life skills including leadership skills. These include participation its empowerment programmes, volunteering, planning an event at the agency, speaking in front of groups or networking with youth organizations. Providing training for young people who serve in these leadership is essential so that young people feel confident in fulfilling the challenges required of them. Once they have achieved a measure of success, young people will continue to strive for more demanding and difficult roles.
This course is aimed for young people involved in youth organizations/groups/secondary or post-secondary schools who want to develop and improve their leadership skills.
The purpose of this course is to provide young poeple with an award at Level 3 including the following modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to Leadership
- Module 2: Communicating Effectively
- Module 3: Strategic Planning
- Module 4: Civic Responsibilities and Active Leadership

What is InTune with Myself?
In Tune is an Agenzija Zghazagh Life Skills programme that will precisely focus on identifying and expanding young people’s emotional vocabulary and dealing with stressful situations effectively. Furthermore, the programme promotes empathy, an attitude that fosters understanding and cooperation.
In Tune is a two-tier programme:
- for pre-teens between 11 to 12 years of age
- for teens between 13 to 14 years of age
By participating in this programme, I will be able to:
- Expand my emotional vocabulary.
- Get in touch with my feelings from a personal perspective.
- Discuss how relationships play an essential role in emotional literacy.
- Understand the connection between emotional literacy and mental and physical health.
- Outline several actions on who to deal with emotional challenges
- Equip myself with the necessary skills and tips to overcome related challenges.

What is Take Action through Photos?
Millions of photos are posted daily on different social media platforms. These photos capture a moment in time and communicate an action or a situation for viewers to react.
Take Action through Photos aims to engage young people on how to advocate a message on different matters through visual media.
Young people who like photography and are between 13 to 18 years of age.
I will learn to:
- Explore photography as a creative and exciting medium to raise awareness of certain issues
- Interpret, identify and use visual techniques to take action
- Express myself creatively
- Understand that I can become advocate for a good cause

Sound On is for those young people between 12 to 16 years of age.
I will learn to:
- Enhance my public speaking skills
- Research and plan topics and music for a radio programme
- Set-up the radio equipment
- Record and edit the radio programme

What is Youth Workout?
Youth Workout is a programme for young people enrolled in sports organisations that is intended to strengthen and complement their physical training routine. Focusing on relevant life skills, it is aimed at retaining the young people’s participation in sport and their overall wellbeing.
Young people aged 13 – 19 actively enrolled in a sports organization
Sports Organisations
Will be able to offer the young people an additional programme that specifically focuses on young people’s social and mental wellbeing, through sustained participation in sport.
Young People
This programme targets Goal Setting, Time Management and Team Dynamics. Using goal setting young people will measure their personal improvements through identifying, planning and working on their goals. Time management is key in maintaining a healthy balance between sports, education and/or employment and personal relationships. Team dynamics will enhance team development and success.
