The Youth Agency provides young people with the time and space to make friends, learn in alternative ways and develop their talents through our regional youth services and our extensive empowerment programme.

Through our interactive information service for young people, we provide information on services and opportunities for young people as well as listen to their views on issues that impact their lives. Through Eurodesk, the European Youth Charter and our participation in EU programs, young people are given the opportunity to explore life, learning and work throughout Europe.

InstaPoint of Thursday 29th April was all about remembering what has been done when Malta had the European Union Presidency back in 2017.  Sarah Camilleri and Chris Bonnici will share their experiences of participating in the EU Presidency.


Roots & Routes aims to establish and enhance connections with young Maltese living abroad while encouraging young people living in Malta to engage with narratives of young Maltese migrants thereby encouraging a broad understanding of identity, nationality, migration and global mobility.

In this third episode, we meet Sam & Kay, who have moved to Edinburgh, Scotland a few months before the looming Brexit deadline at the end of 2020. It is Kay’s first experience of living away from Malta. Sam has lived in Tunisia, Malta, Canada and the Netherlands before moving to Scotland. With them we speak about keeping up their family traditions and making their own new traditions in a new country.



Youth.inc is youth work programme with the aim to guide young people to develop in a holistic way. The programme is developed around a youth centred approach with the aim to engage the young people in their own process of development and enable them to live more independently and access further study or employment.
