Musical Tuition for Young People in Band Clubs

What is this scheme all about?

The Musical Tuition of Young People in Band Clubs scheme provides financial assistance to local band clubs to come up with initiatives to support the capacity of the music tuition service they offer. The funding scheme is operated by Agenzija Zghazagh in collaboration with Għaqda Każini tal-Banda.

Who is it for?
This scheme is open to band clubs that seek financial assistance to develop initiatives for young people to attend musical tuition or to enhance their existing musical tuition projects. Eligible Band Clubs need to be members of the Malta Band Clubs Association as well as registered and compliant with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations. Band Clubs may submit proposals to work on individual projects (under Scheme A) or to work with a team of band clubs (under Scheme B).

What will it do for me?
Eligible Band Clubs are awarded a financial grant to implement proposed initiatives amounting up to a maximum of €2400 for initiatives that cost up to €3000 under Scheme A; and up to €8000 for collaborative projects of up to €10,000 bringing together up to 5 band clubs.
