Celebrating 35 Years of Eurodesk

This year marks the 35th anniversary of Eurodesk; a network dedicated to empowering young people with information on learning mobility and opportunities across Europe. Since its creation in 1990, Eurodesk has grown into one of the most trusted sources of youth information, helping millions of young people take their first steps towards studying, volunteering, or working abroad.

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, through Eurodesk Malta, is proud to be part of this journey. Over the years, countless young people from Malta have accessed opportunities that expanded their horizons, built their skills, and connected them with peers across the continent. From Erasmus+ to the European Solidarity Corps and other learning mobility opportunities, Eurodesk has been the bridge linking ambition with possibility.

As part of the 35th anniversary celebrations, Aġenzija Żgħażagħ organised engaging sessions with NEET young people using the Tasty Europe toolkit. This connected us with Eurodesk Greece and gave participants the chance to discover the country’s traditions, culture, and cuisine in an interactive way. Aġenzija Żgħażagħ also hosted a national conference for youth organisations, “Sustaining Quality in Youth Organisations,” reflecting on how we can continue to strengthen the youth sector in Malta.

The 35th anniversary is not only a celebration of the past but also a commitment to the future. Young people need clear, reliable, and inspiring guidance more than ever. Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and Eurodesk will continue to ensure that no young person misses out on the chance to explore Europe, discover their potential, and shape the society they want to live in.
