Jason Żammit is Chief Executive of Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, Malta’s national youth agency, where he leads the strategic direction and implementation of national youth policy, ensuring the effective delivery of programmes that support, empower, and engage young people.

He brings extensive experience in youth policy, research, and strategy, developed through a range of senior leadership roles within the agency. Jason has played a central role in the design, coordination, and monitoring of Malta’s national youth policy, promoting evidence‑based approaches, innovation, and strong programme outcomes across youth services.

Jason represents Malta at national, European, and international levels, contributing to expert groups, working bodies, and policy discussions within European Union and Council of Europe frameworks, as well as broader international youth initiatives.

He is also a visiting lecturer in the Department of Public Policy at the University of Malta and has contributed to academic work on youth policy and governance.
